Let's Play Mass Effect #26 Bring Down The Sky
Oops, we forgot the DLC! We've hit level 50, only this to do before heading to Ilos. We have to save Terra Nova from collision with asteroid X57. https://youtu.be/4PCy55NrqPc
WARNING: Many apologies for the bad framerate in this video due to a mistake in the recording setup. I'm uploading the episode anyway in the name of completeness, but if it bugs you, skip this episode and wait for the next one.
We're now running on the Xbox One in Backwards Compatibility mode. Since DLC was not supported when we started playing, this means we did an off-camera scratch start with a new character who looks a lot like the earlier one and is an Infiltrator, but has a different background, a few more Renegade points, and now actually has to level up abilities and collect weapons and armor for herself and the crew.
This is the first in our new Spectator Mode series, where we try to co-op games that don't actually have co-op. First up, the sweeping space opera Mass Effect, that has all the classic RPG features that Bungie's Destiny left out, as well as all the clumsy third person shooting features they never put in.

Mass Effect "Bring Down the Sky" DLC on Steam. Does anyone have it working?
I've been trying for a week now, and after spending multiple hours in multiple chat sessions with EA, I cannot get this DLC installed. I gave up on EA support when they suggested Firewall settings might be the culprit (Windows Firewall is turned off).
I downloaded the installer from here, and contacted EA about getting a CD-Key since the instructions on that page are invalid. They issued me a key, but when I try to install the DLC it immediately jumps to a "installation cancelled" screen after entering the CD Key. The Key is valid as it displays a different message if the key entered is bad.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work with the steam version of EA? Was starting to a new playthrough to get ready for ME3, and would like to have this DLC included in that.
EDIT: For reference, Windows 7, x64
Any advice for getting this to work would be appreciated.
